What is the HSG test?
The HSG test is to examine the uterus or the fallopian tubes which can be the cause of infertility. The test helps to establish the blockage in the tubes or abnormality in the uterine cavity. It is an X-Ray test that helps to outline the internal shape of the uterus and fallopian.
How is the HSG test conducted at your clinic?
At our clinic, we use a thin tube that is inserted through the vagina and cervix. A contrast material substance is injected into the uterus and X-Ray images are taken.
Is the HSG test painful?
Yes, a little bit but we ensure that we make it as comfortable for you as possible by giving you painkiller. It is just that the females will feel a little discomfort when the thin tube is inserted or moved inside.
